Fins Selector

This fin selector has been developed by Exocet in cooperation with Select Hydrofoils to choose exactly the type of fin you need in order to benefit the maximum performance out of your board.
During the Exocet development process, Select fins have shown to be of top performance and therefore can be highly recommended for use in the Warp range. In order to choose exactly the right fin for your personal setup, we recommend you to read the following information carefully
How does it work:

1. What is your type of sailing?

  • Match Racing : for sailors who like to race head to head with their friends, slightly upwind, cross wind and down wind courses ;
  • PWA - Slalom: for sailors who are attending slalom competitions and requiring maximum amount off grip, control and acceleration ;
  • GPS -  Speed : sailors who are looking for maximum speed and therefore sailing very deep down wind angles ;

2. If there is a range of fins you can choose from you can consider the following argument(s) to choose a slightly smaller or bigger fin within the given range:

Choose a longer fin when :

  • you want to get on the plane earlier
  • your board is slowing down significantly in wind holes
  • your board is spin out sensitve
  • the board is riding "to" easy

Choose a shorther fin when:

  • when you are experiencing tailwalks
  • bad control during jibes
