This fin selector has been developed to help users choosing the right fin length depending on the sail size and type of board they use.
For these antiweed fins, volume or width of the board is the value to determine the best possible choice for multipurpose sailing focused on minimum board speed on the plane.
These tables were developed for all types of boards considering the evolution of the boards in last two years. Technical developments on 2010 boards are quite minimal and our range of products will remain quite logical for years to come.
The choice of the fin length depends on your sailing style and on your personal preferences. Do you like to sail over or under powered? Is the wind consistent or gusty ? Do you wish to have good upwind performances? All these parameters are influencing the ideal fin size.

When you sail, and depending on your sensations...
You must choose a longer fin when :
- You have difficulties changing direction while maintaining a good speed
- You have difficulties starting planing
- Your speed immediately decreases in an air pocket
- The board tend to slide leewards
- You have a hard time riding on the fin without spinning out
- You feel as if the board is sticking to the water
You must choose a shorter fin when :
- Your board wants to go windward and you have a hard time falling off
- The board tends too lift out of the water
- You have difficulties controlling the board in a balanced way
- You have difficulties initiating and controlling a jibe as the board keeps to much going straight forward.
